We hold the Bible to be God’s holy word and the only source for learning of God’s salvation and for the teaching of the church. 2Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may  be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

 Easter
As Easter approaches, we are reminded of the gift that God gives us in His Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus came to live a perfect life for us and to suffer and die on the cross for our sins. Jesus did this act of love so that we may be with Him forever in heaven. As we wait for that day when we will see Him face to face, God would have us begin each day in the assurance that our souls are prepared at any moment to stand before His throne in heaven. God wants us to live each day confident and trusting in His loving care and promises. God wants us to know the sure hope of His forgiveness and eternal salvation. He warns us not to lay up treasures on this earth, but to have our lives and minds on the things of heaven and the kingdom of God.
Christ's rising from the grave is evidence enough of immortality for a believer. I have seen the spectacular results in those lives who have taken God at His Word. I have ministered to those who have been comforted, as they have put their trust in Him and in the promises of everlasting life. The miracle of Easter morning is proof beyond measure that we need not fear the unknown future. Christ has been victorious over sin and death on our behalf. In faith, we too shall be victorious. He is Risen! He has Risen Indeed!
Come celebrate Easter, April 9 and every Sunday after Easter.
